Verdict

Mick Channon's Silca Conegliano deserves to get her head in front having finished in the frame in her last three starts but she looks booked for a place at best again in a race where it may be worth siding with the newcomer EASY TICKET, who is preferred to Falkland Flyer. Mick Channon's colt has run well in both starts so far, finishing a fair third on his Bath debut first time out before finding just finding the useful Al Aasifh too good at Haydock recently, and he should be involved at the finish again. Mark Johnston's Jibaal needs to improve from the form shown on his debut at York but the yard's youngsters normally do, while Richard Fahey's newcomer Wootton Bassett takes the eye on breeding being a son of Iffraaj out of a Primo Dominie mare and he could be of interest. Preference though is for another seeing a racecourse for the first time in David Brown's Easy Ticket, who is speedily bred being by Kheleyf out of a Royal Academy mare and it would come as no surprise to see owner John Fretwell have another first time out juvenile winner.
