This first running of the Ayr Bronze Cup is wide open where most of the field seem to have some chance but with a combination of the six furlong trip and step up in class ruling out The Tatling and with Turnkey best in claimers these days we side with the potentially well weighted CARA'S REQUST. Dandy Nicholls is strongly represented in this and is a bit of a specialist when it comes to these types of races. Perhaps not the best drawn of his quintet the selection should nevertheless be able to run his race from stall 10. He ran a good race in defeat at Newmarket last time so with two pounds removed from his back he is looking on the light side especially with the return to softer ground also looking a plus. The Tatling very rarely wins beyond five furlongs these days but should be in the mix while Turnkey is on form but hasn¿t shown much in these ranks for some time. Silver Wind and Hotham are both respected in there current good moods with Silaah also finding a place on our shortlist. Very trappy stuff but a goo race that we suggest could go the way of Cara's Request.
