Verdict

BILL BAXTER returned to action with a promising second at Ffos Las on his hurdling bow. Normal progress can see Warren Greatrex’ bumper winner off the mark in this. Okavango Delta had the measure of both Half Track and Salvino when runner-up at Kelso and is another to consider as he steps up in trip along with Hexham second Readysteadybeau. The latter was still beaten a long way last time while new stablemate and Irish point-to-point winner Rowdy Rustler has undergone wind surgery and is fitted with a tongue-tie on his debut under Rules.
