Verdict

Third-placed Flexi Furlough hung badly into the path of BE THE DIFFERENCE in the closing stages at Wetherby and may well have cost the latter the race. Beaten only a length on that occasion, Philip Kirby’s charge can gain compensation if avoiding trouble in-running. Petite Rhapsody and Flood Defence found only one too good in their respective divisions over track and trip last month though the former’s race was run in a much faster time while El Jefe still looked to have plenty left in the tank when falling two out at Kelso on his latest start.
