In depth

Verdict

Muhtamar posted his best effort so far when runner-up over track and trip on last month’s reappearance. He’s preferred to Limerick Leader, who faded badly at Carlisle on his return to action and hurdling bow. SOFT RISK had a subsequent winner back in third when making an impressive winning debut in a bumper here. Nicky Richards’ charge is related to a winner over jumps and should go close if taking to the obstacles. Scots Poet also landed a bumper when successful at Stratford on his first outing for a new yard while Travail D'orfevre has undergone wind surgery since last in action having won a bumper at this venue on his earlier debut.
