        Verdict

        Moonlight Applause has been hard to win with a but has strong claims here and gets the vote ahead of Rue Soleil and By The Edge. Tim Easterby's filly has put in three solid placed efforts in June and she remains on a fair mark. She had today's rival Rue Solieil behind when they met at Redcar and should confirm the form despite being slightly worse off at the weaights. By The Edge put in a much improved effort last time out when a close up fourth behind Viva Belle at Salisbury and is certainly open to further progression. Ensign's Trick, unlike most of these, has managed a victory this season and is another to consider for the places, however Moonlight Applause looks to have been found a decent opportunity to finally get her first victory.
