Rasharrow lost no caste in defeat when a length third behind the heavily backed Missed That in Cheltenham's Festival Bumper last month, and has to be the choice to gain compensation here at the main expense of Saxon Mist and Kline. The last mentioned is a King's Theatre half-brother to the useful hurdler and chaser Billy Bathgate and representing the stable of Nicky Henderson has to be respected. Alan Swinbank's Campesino has run to a consistent level of form in three starts and can again be expected to run his race, while Wetherby winner Seymar Lad struggled under his penalty at Uttoxeter last time and may do so again. Harry Flashman is likely to find this tougher than the race that he won over course and distance on his debut last month and of more interest may be Saxon Mist. Alan King's gelding showed improved form when successful at Newton Abbot last time and has to be respected but Rasharrow looked a horse of some potential when scoring at Wetherby first time out and confirmed that belief when running so well at Cheltenham. He will be tough to beat in this company.
