    Verdict

There is not too much between a few of these and this could develop into a tactical affair. However, the booking of Frankie Dettori for Lucayan Beauty takes the eye and Jim Goldie's charge is taken to confirm recent Nottingham form with Lord Temuchin on these terms. The latter spoilt his chances by being slowly away on that occasion but still lacked the resolution to reel in the leaders. His subsequent effort at Catterick confirmed the suspicion that he is not the best of battlers and he does not look to be one to trust implicitly. Maunby Rocker hails from a yard that always has to be respected and any support for the three-year-old should be noted with interest. But Lucayan Beauty is better than his form figures would suggest and will benefit from Dettori's strength in the saddle if the tactics play there expected role today.
