Whittingamvillage comes here in the form of his life and is fancied to gain the hat-trick at the main expense of Mystical Ayr and Thornaby Green. The selection has risen just 2lbs in the weights for his most recent success, and the narrow margins of his wins means that the handicapper cannot be too harsh. Jockey Andrew Elliott won on the horse two starts back and is fancied to go close once again. Linda Perratt appears to have a fairly strong hand in Mandarin Rocket and Mystical Ayr. Whilst the former is yet to win in sixteen starts, he has run some decent races over this course before. Mystical Ayr is 5lbs above his highest winning mark, but he also likes the track and should go well. Gala Sunday and Thornaby Green are both handicapped to win and the former should go well as he handles any ground but does tend to pull a bit too hard.
