        Verdict

        ANABEL was a 25/1 chance on her debut at Glorious Goodwood but belied her odds with a tremendous effort to get within a short-head of the race-fit and better-drawn Notary. She'll be very difficult to beat with normal progress. Forever A Lady missed the break and was a long way behind at one stage on her debut at Ripon but stayed on strongly once getting the hang of the job and today's extra furlong can only aid her cause. Ambriel is bred for this trip and is related to several winners while Bad Penny cost 105,000gns. Zaina Rizeena is out of a mare who has produced winners with her first two foals and is definitely one to note.
