The lightly raced Wozart can round off the meeting on a high note for his connections, while Compton Classic and Conjecture should also be noted in the betting. The last named is being kept busy and arrives here with solid place claims on the best of his efforts. Today's pilot did get a good tune out of him when they were placed in a ladies race at Leicester a year ago, so all is not lost if the gelding can turn back the clock. Compton Classic has a slightly more convincing profile than his stablemate Rothesay Dancer but there would not be much between them on recent evidence. Watch the betting carefully with these two. Nevertheless, Wozart has bags more scope for improvement and, as he gets on so well with Scott Dobson, this looks an ideal opening for him to expand on his recent haul.
