Enticing will be very hard to beat if she runs to the form of her excellent fifth in the Kings Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot; Pivotal's Princess is in great and will be a major threat, while her stablemate Terentina is also on an upward curve and should make a bold bid. The in-foal Our Little Secret is another worth a mention but this is a marked rise in grade for her and, like her old rival Coconut Moon, she has a bit to find. It took Terentina a couple of outings to get off the mark for the season, but she did it in good style at York in May. She usually goes well after a break, so should not be underestimated today. Pivotal's Princess has been placed four times in Listed races since September 2005 and fully deserves to break her duck at this level. Unbeaten in two starts this season, Ed McMahon's filly appears to be still improving and she can be expected to be involved in the thick of the action. However, Enticing, who was thrown in at the deep end when contesting the Nunthorpe as a three-year-old, has a touch more scope for improvement and, even under a 4lb penalty, she holds outstanding claims on the book. Drying ground would be in her favour, though. So she may not represent the over all best bet of the day at the likely odds.
