SHUNKAWAKHAN has dropped to an attractive mark and gets the verdict in an open contest. The seven-year-old sees out this trip very well, represents a yard in form, and goes well on a sound surface. He has also performed well in defeat at this track and today can be his day. Only A Splash looks a danger, though he would be much more so if the rains came before racing. Rascal In The Mix is on the same mark as when beaten at Redcar last time, but if the ground came up fast then he would have to be considered a big threat. Red Skipper likes it here but may have his work cut out to beat Shunkawakhan.
