Verdict

Darjina got the better of English and Irish 1,000 Guineas winner Finsceal Beo in the French version last month but the faster ground here should suit Jim Bolger's filly more and she is taken to gain her third Group 1 success of the campaign, with Mi Emma rated the pick of the remainder. The selection has had three races in the highest calibre this term and has done little wrong so while there may be a concern that another race in the highest echelon may not be ideal, she is undoubtedly the one they all have to beat. Rahiyah finished a close third behind Darjina and Finsceal Beo at Longchamp and has place claims again, while Yaqeen needs to improve on Newmarket form to trouble the selection. Arch Swing, who chased home the selection at Newmarket was disappointing at The Curragh in the Irish 1,000 and is clearly better than she showed that day but a bigger threat may come from the undefeated Mi Emma, who comes here having won the German 1,000 Guineas last time. Finsceal Beo is the clear form pick though and she gets the vote.
