Three fillies take on the boys in this and all look to have strong claims though Priceless, who won the Temple Stakes at Haydock last month, had earlier finished behind Marsha, along with a number of these, in the Palace House at Newmarket when Sir Mark Prescott’s four-year-old defied a penalty. She also beat Washington Dc in last year’s Prix de l’Abbaye at Chantilly and is a high-class sprinter. Lady Aurelia showed blinding speed to win the Queen Mary here last year and three-year-olds have won this twice since the turn of the century. Wesley Ward’s charge showed she had trained on when winning at Keeneland in April but gives the impression she needs to get her own way out in front and a few of these are flying machines. Muthmir has been more like his old self this year and would be one to benefit from a fast pace. Last year’s winner Profitable, who now runs in the Godolphin colours, will have benefited from a second behind Signs Of Blessing in a Group 3 at Deauville but we’ll take GOLDREAM to reverse recent form with both Marsha and Priceless. Winner of this in 2015, the eight-year-old has his ground and has been targeted at the race by Bob Cowell. Drawn in the middle, Martin Harley should be able to track the pace and bring his mount with his usual late burst.
