        Verdict

        SILCA MISTRESS is vulnerable to a newcomer but has been far from disgraced in contests won by potentially-talented fillies in Natural and Madeline, both of whom currently hold an entry in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot on Friday. The Channon filly has shown more than enough to prove competitive in this easier assignment and can make the most of her experience against a raft of newcomers. Richard Fahey is enjoying a fine season with his juveniles and the market should indicate stable preference between Javelin and Lady Grand with narrow preference for the former on paper. Michael Dods and Paul Mulrennan have enjoyed a strong month and Mecca's Spirit, a daughter of Dark Angel, requires close monitoring on debut.
