Upward Spiral knew her job on her debut at Sandown where she made all to see off Jubilee Diamond. There's more to come from both and it will be a surprise if they are not competitive. David Wachman has won this in the past and Mironica looked a nice filly when making a winning debut at Naas but in a wide-open event JADANNA is handed the vote. Beverley's Hilary Needler Trophy often throws up a classy performer and James Givens' filly looked a really nice prospect when defying a short absence through injury to storm home that day. She's obviously stepping up in class but looks capable of doing so and Frankie Dettori is an eye-catching booking. Mick Channon has a good record in the race and Graphic Guest has plenty going for her including a victory over the C&D on soft ground while Sharaarah showed blistering pace on Polytrack at Kempton and can reward each-way backers.
