Sir Henry Cecil has aimed CHACHAMAIDEE at this and she can go one better than a year ago when caught close home by Lolly For Dolly. She travelled well throughout on that occasion and looked certain to win when hitting the front and Tom Queally may hang on to her a bit longer this time. Emulous and Nahrain look major threats though both have to carry Group 1 penalties. The former beat a high-class field to land the Matron Stakes at Leopardstown in convincing fashion last September and reappeared with a smooth success over subsequent Listed winner One Spirit at the Curragh. She looks certain to go well while Nahrain, last year's Prix De L'Opera winner and Breeders' Cup Filly And Mare runner-up, should have no problems dropping down in trip and won first time out last season. Sir Mark Prescott never tilts at windmills with his horses so the presence of Epsom Group 3 winner Clinical is greatly respected and she has the beating of Joviality, Barefoot Lady and Lay Time on that run.
