Bronze Cannon, who was good value for his win in the Group 2 Jockey Club Stakes last month, has to be respected here but John Gosden's colt may struggle under his penalty to give weight away to DOCTOR FREMANTLE, who looks the one they have to beat and is preferred to stable companion Tajaaweed. Sir Michael Stoute's colt was highly tried last time when last of the eight runners behind Vision D'Etat in the Prix Ganay but that form still has a solid look to it and, being dropped into a Group 2 race today, he has to be considered. Gerard Butler has his string in better form now and Dansant is capable of taking a hand in the finish but he is probably better on the Polytrack than on turf so looks best left out of calculations. Campanologist would have every chance if able to run to the level of form that he showed at York last summer but Godolphin are struggling for winners at present and of more interest may be Willie Muir's Enroller, who is a consistent performer and was good value for his win in the John Porter last time. The vote though goes to Sir Michael Stoute's Doctor Freemantle, who had to work hard for his narrow success in Chester's Huxley Stakes last time but he is open to more improvement and can take his first race in this grade.
