The step up in trip looks tailor-made for STRATEGIC MISSION and he gets the vote over Allied Powers, Daraahem and Colony. The last-named has just over two lengths to find on the selection on their run at Newbury in May, but a 6lb pull in the weights gives him a shout. He was a hot favourite on that occasion and it would be no surprise to see him run well, as he is bred to win over this trip like his dam. However Strategic Mission, despite an 8lb rise in the weights, could prove hard to beat. He was going away at the line when winning and his juvenile form reads very well. Woolfall Treasure has place claims, along with Manyriverstocross who has the services of David Probert who has been gaining the plaudits of late. Missioner ran a fair race in defeat at Pontefract recently but doesn't look obviously well-handicapped, whilst Fiulin and Indian Days have been holding their form well and this may have been the target for a while. Allied Powers has been impressive in winning three in a row, but this is so much tougher and he has another 10lb rise in the weights to cope with. Daraahem impressed when winning his maiden but this is obviously much tougher, and so we will return to Strategic Mission as the one to beat.
