Verdict

It's been a while but NORMANDY BARRIERE finally returned to something like form the last day and could be a major contender off a mark of just 87 if replicating that improvement. Izzy Clifton has started making a name for herself, the Tinkler yard could hardly be in better form and the gelding has gone very well here in the past. Swindler makes a belated return to action and makes his handicap bow on the back of three promising juvenile outings. The market may indicate his readiness for this assignment off a pretty attractive mark. Margub wins in his turn and is respected along with the consistent Louie de Palma and the running-into-form Sunsprite.
