Verdict

This rates a cracking contest in which BELLA VITA is taken to make it four on the bounce. The Aussie Rules filly has handled all ground types effectively and is expected to take this step-up in distance in her stride after staying on well last time to score over 1m2f on soft. Hameem found Listed company too strong at Pontefract but was progressive until then and should prove competitive returned to handicap company despite her considerable burden of 10-0. Cape Islay was back to form the last day and could provide most danger off a feasible mark, whilst Sneaky Peek, Birch Grove and Dono di Dio are all consistent sorts who cannot be discounted.
