      Verdict

      SPARTAN FIGHTER beat subsequent Norfolk Stakes winner A’Ali with the rest nowhere when scoring at Ripon last month and looks the strongest form on offer. He’s taken to defy a penalty and is preferred to Auckland Lodge, a maiden winner at Carlisle last time. Galactic Glow was beaten less than a length when third at Doncaster back in April and a couple of subsequent winners have come out of the race but She Can Dance was well beaten in soft going here last time. Fanzone is related to five winners and a newcomer to note for Archie Watson’s yard.
