In depth

Verdict

Brasca looked to be progressing well until proving relatively disappointing at Goodwood last month, albeit upped in class. As with many of these, he tackles this trip for the first time but is respected all the same. Grenadier Guard also steps up half a mile in distance for a yard whose inmates nearly always improve for the increase in trip and is well regarded too. Luck Of Clover and Arthur Pendragon are performing solidly enough without winning whereas CHAMPAGNE MARENGO is not only on a hat-trick but his stamina was proven over this trip when obliging at Catterick two starts back. He takes a major rise in grade but should give a decent account off just 8-2.
