The Snatcher is the solid one here and may be able to gain a deserved success but Cape Hawk and Meydan Dubai could have a say in the outcome if able to fulfil their promise. The selection has been in really good form this season, winning impressively in April before finishing close up behind Bankable later that month. He's found one too good on two subsequent outings and has crept up the weights as a result but he has won from this high a mark in the past and Patrick Hills is good value for his claim; he should go close. Cape Hawk has yet to match his all-weather form on grass but he has been well backed on a couple of occasions and connections clearly feel that he's capable of making his mark. He's been freshened up by a break and has been dropped in the weights, it will be interesting to see if his supporters come back for more. Meydan Dubai finished a slightly unlucky in running fifth behind Duntulm at Newmarket back in April but has been a shade disappointing the last twice including when adopting a change of tactics last time. He's tried in a visor now and could go well if the headgear has the desired effect. Oceana Gold is another with claims if the headgear works whilst South Cape ran a blinder in the Buckingham Palace Stakes and appears to be on the way back and is a couple of pounds lower than when last successful. Flight To Quality has some big race entries but failed to give his running on his reappearance so couldn't be put forward with confidence but The Snatcher continues to perform consistently and is thus selected.
