SOULCOMBE won so easily at Haydock on his handicap debut and first start gelded that he’s due to be raised by 4lb more than today’s penalty. There looks plenty more to come from the Haggas charge and he’s preferred to First Officer. The latter scored at Salisbury when upped to today’s trip while Teumessias Fox ran well in a heritage handicap over course and distance last time and can also figure in this lower grade. Silverscape and Sarsons Risk have more to find.
