Verdict

PRIDE OF PRIORY only won by a head at Newcastle a fortnight ago but the winning margin would have been bigger with a clear run. He looks worth sticking with given Charging Thunder’s recent victories have been over longer trips including 1m6f at Newmarket. The Whipmaster’s winning run came to an end with a second over track and trip though he still finished well clear of the rest. Pretty Sweet still looks high enough in the weights and Southern Voyage has something to prove now after another poor effort at York.
