A highly competitive renewal with Shandoz just getting the better of Grand Bazaar over track and trip on his reappearance and expected to confirm running. MY FRANKEL won a decent novices' race over today’s distance at Kempton in good style and Sir Michael Stoute’s colt can take another step forward now handicapping. Kipps went close when last racing over course and distance though was beaten by Zabeel Champion over 1m2f subsequently and the latter has something to prove over this far. Cepheus had the measure of Al Qaqaa when scoring over 1m3f at Goodwood and the latter’s stablemate A Star Above is 12lb higher than when winning at Leicester earlier. Ravens Ark is upped in class while Coconut and Noble Masquerade make their handicap debuts.
