Verdict

Tyson Fury never figured in the St Leger but made a winning debut at Doncaster earlier with subsequent Pontefract runner-up Duck And Vanish behind. The latter’s stablemate Made For Mind is a newcomer from a winning family in Scandinavia while Cadeau D'or posted a good effort over 1m2f at Salisbury on his reappearance and steps up in trip. But GOLDEN RULES also steps up from 1m2f having shown promise at Lingfield on his debut, despite running into trouble on a couple of occasions, and John Gosden’s colt may prove the one to side with.
