      In depth

      Verdict

Plenty with claims including Raaeq, who made a winning handicap debut at Sandown off a 6lb lower mark. Tiger Crusade failed to cope with a 6lb rise here having won at Doncaster before that while Hieronymus has a 10lb hike to contend with after scoring over a mile at Kempton. EBURY (NAP) can race off the same mark as when showing signs of a return to form at Sandown last time and Martyn Meade’s charge has every chance in this lower grade with an apprentice’s allowance also in his favour. Gallipoli drops in class on the back of going close at Newmarket and is preferred to both Herculean and Blackheath.
