BALLYBRIGGAN is a previous winner but had that Doncaster victory chalked off after he was found to have a banned substance in his post race urine test. While that was an obvious disappointment to all concerned, the silver lining is that he is effectively able to take in an easier return to the racecourse rather than the route of handicapping that he would have had to do. He was outclassed in a high quality race at the National meeting but there should be more to come. Dhaular Dhar was a decent stick on the Flat and the entire should have no fitness issues having been busy on the level of late. Kaolak looked to lose his way during the summer and while some may see this as a sign of desperation, he did possess a decent cruising speed. Mediolanum won a Killarney bumper prior to joining current connections and he could be anything. Scoter Fontaine won a bumper at Hereford by 17 lengths and Tony McCoy remains aboard.
