In depth

Verdict

Weinberg was second on hurdling debut at Hexham, ahead of Enforcement and Jaycols Star. Experience can be a plus at this time of year but The Jungle Vip was placed twice on the Flat for Mark Johnston and Chief Justice was second four times up to 7f, though showed signs of temperament last time at Beverley when refusing to race. CRACKER FACTORY cost 60,000gns as a yearling. He only ran four times on the Flat but hinted at ability and is a half-brother to three middle-distance winners so should last home. Given connections, he’s sure to have had plenty of schooling.
