David Wheeler's stoppage-time winner saw Wycombe beat MK Dons 3-2 after the visitors had twice come from behind at Adams Park.
Joe Jacobson's 12th-minute penalty gave the hosts the lead only for Jordan Bowery to level on the half-hour.
Fred Onyedinma restored the advantage seven minutes before the break but Jordan Houghton equalised from the penalty spot after Jacobson was adjudged to have fouled Kieran Agard, all before Wheeler's winner.
The game started with Wycombe on top and when Houghton fouled Paul Smyth, Jacobson made no mistake from the penalty spot.
Dean Lewington and Bowery both forced smart saves from Wycombe's Ryan Allsop, but Bowery eventually bagged the equaliser when firing into the bottom left-hand corner.
Wycombe went back ahead before the break as Onyedinma rifled home with a sweet left-foot strike, but MK Dons should have gone into half-time level but Conor McGrandles fired a penalty over the crossbar.
Houghton's second-half spot-kick looked to have earned the Dons a battling point, tucking home after Agard was felled by goalscorer Jacobson.
But there was still time for a late Wheeler winner, snatching the points when tucking the ball under Lee Nicholls.
