Harrold strike keeps leaders four points clear
Matt Harrold's late strike snatched leaders Wycombe a 2-1 victory and their first win in four games despite being put under pressure by battling Accrington.
Colin Murdock's own goal had earlier cancelled out a superb effort from Paul Mullin in a first half of few clear-cut chances.
Accrington could have led after five minutes but Mullin's header hit the crossbar after he reacted quickest during a scramble in the Wycombe area.
The visitors went ahead after 16 minutes when Mullin showed great control on the edge of the box then sent a curling effort into the top corner for his eighth goal of the season.
Less than 10 minutes later Chris Casement got in behind the Stanley defence and sent over a great cross which forced Murdock to turn the ball into his own net.
The second half was a stalemate until the home side claimed the points in the 80th minute when Harrold stole in at the far post to head in from substitute Nathan Ashton's cross.
