Wigan 3-0 Bury: Latics ease to victory
Saturday 27 February 2016 19:28, UK
Wigan extended their unbeaten run in Sky Bet League One to 12 matches with a very comfortable 3-0 victory over Bury.
The Shakers had knocked Wigan out of both cup competitions this season, as well as drawing the corresponding fixture at Gigg Lane back in October.
But they were never in this game as Wigan were two goals up inside nine minutes.
With six minutes gone, Yanic Wildschut crossed from the left for Will Grigg to head past Ian Lawlor.
Ryan Colclough doubled the advantage two minutes later when he cut in from the right before lashing into the far corner of the net.

And Grigg added number three from the penalty spot on 21 minutes after he had been tripped in the box by Lawlor.
Wigan goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen made a fine double save to deny Tom Pope and Danny Mayor just before half-time.
But the Shakers couldn't manage to break through, and Wigan almost added to their total after the break.
Grigg was denied his hat-trick by inches after smashing against the bar from the edge of the area.
Max Power then did likewise from 10 yards, after great work down the right by Colclough.
