Tranmere 1-1 Swindon
Tuesday 1 October 2024 23:15, UK
Tranmere and Swindon had to settle for point apiece following a tightly-contested 1-1 draw at Prenton Park.
Rovers almost opened the scoring in the 10th minute when Kristian Dennis blasted over from six yards after latching onto an Omari Patrick cross.
Dennis made amends seven minutes later, however, when he fired into an empty net after Swindon failed to clear the danger on the edge of their own box.

The Robins started brightly after the break as Gavin Kilkenny and Kabongo Tshimanga came close before Chris Merrie diverted the ball into his own net from a Cox corner in the 55th minute.
Joel Cotterill's 25-yard effort stung the palms of McGee, while substitute Paul Glatzel headed wide from the resulting corner as the visitors went in search of a second in the closing stages.
Meanwhile, at the other end, Regan Hendry and Patrick had chances to win it for Tranmere, who are now without a win in four while Swindon's wait for a first away win continues.
