Swindon 0-0 Port Vale: Robins held in goalless stalemate
Saturday 16 March 2019 19:21, UK
Swindon's faint play-off hopes suffered a setback as the Robins and Port Vale played out a turgid goalless League Two draw at the County Ground.
The entire first half passed by without a single shot on target for either side.
Swindon did manage four attempts but none have them came close to troubling Scott Brown in the Port Vale goal.
Theo Robinson's Paolo Di Canio-style volley from range was the highlight of a poor opening half, but the shot sailed harmlessly wide.
Visitors Vale finally had the first shot on target in the 56th minute as Luke Joyce's effort from a long way out dribbled safely straight at Lawrence Vigouroux.

Leon Legge came closest for Vale, but his powerful goal-bound header from a corner was well saved by goalkeeper Vigouroux.
