Monaco edged Paris Saint-Germain closer to the Ligue 1 title after being held to a 1-1 draw at Rennes on Wednesday.
A dominant Rennes side opened the scoring through Joris Gnagnon's 20th-minute strike but their lead lasted only nine minutes as Radamel Falcao set up Rony Lopes for the equaliser.
Rennes pushed hard for a second goal but a winner eluded them, Benjamin Andre heading against a post and Adrien Hunou nodding wide in added time.
The point moved at least moved Monaco five points clear of Marseille in the race for second place but means that PSG will seal the title this weekend if they beat Saint-Etienne and Monaco lose to Nantes.
