Port Vale 0-2 MK Dons: Chuks Aneke, Kieran Agard on target as MK end winless run
Wednesday 3 October 2018 00:10, UK
MK Dons ended their winless run of five league games with a dominant 2-0 victory at Port Vale.
The hosts had the first chance to go ahead within 90 seconds after Mitchell Clark's low drive from the left was denied by Dons goalkeeper Lee Nicholls.
But the Dons opened the scoring on 23 minutes when Chuks Aneke converted Baily Cargill's cross for his third goal of the season.
Kieran Agard then doubled the advantage with a composed strike into the bottom-left corner after turning away from his marker.
Vale's Tom Conlon blasted a shot woefully into the stands before half-time.
