Port Vale bounced back from last week's drubbing against Grimsby by beating Cambridge 1-0.
Leon Davies' 83rd-minute own goal separated the two sides as Vale's unbeaten home start to the season continued.
Goalkeeper Scott Brown demanded his side tighten up after shipping five to to the Mariners and they did just that to secure their first clean sheet of the season, as the U's wait for a first point at Vale Park since 1993 went on.

The game looked destined to finish goalless before Amoo produced a moment of magic to down his former club seven minutes from time.
After doing well to drive into the box Amoo fizzed a ball across the face of goal with Davies agonisingly putting the ball into his own net.
