Plymouth 2-2 Bristol Rovers: Gavin Reilly steals Pirates a point
Saturday 23 March 2019 18:37, UK
Substitute Gavin Reilly scored a stoppage-time leveller as Bristol Rovers snatched a point in a 2-2 draw at West Country rivals Plymouth.
Reilly headed on James Clarke's curling cross to take the ball out of the reach of goalkeeper Matt Macey.
Defender Tony Craig had scored a 75th-minute own goal, heading in off the crossbar as Ruben Lameiras' corner from the right bounced up at the far post to make it 2-1 to the home side.
Plymouth's Portuguese play-maker Lameiras broke the deadlock in the 51st minute.
Lameiras jinked into the area down the right, exchanged passes with David Fox and then curled the ball past goalkeeper Jack Bonham.

Rovers' reply was out of the blue, with Jonson Clarke-Harris ending his attacking run with a thumping angled strike into the top corner from 20 yards which gave Macey no chance.
Macey made a superb save in first-half stoppage-time to deny Tom Nichols as he met skipper Ollie Clarke's cross from the right with a goal-bound strike.
Resurgent Rovers are now five unbeaten.
