Barnsley maintained their automatic promotion push with a clinical 3-0 League One win at relegation-haunted Plymouth.
Striker Cauley Woodrow smashed Barnsley's 15th-minute opener after chesting down right back Jordan Williams' brilliant cross-field ball to the left.
Woodrow took the ball in his stride and volleyed into the far corner past diving Kyle Letheren.
Barnsley doubled their lead in the 21st minute when Jacob Brown fired home after latching on to a Dani Pinillos cross into the box.
Alex Mowatt further increased the lead with a superbly-taken 28th-minute free-kick from outside the box, curling the ball into the top corner from the right, out of the reach of Letheren.
The Argyle keeper made outstanding one-handed diving saves to keep out Mike Bahre's goal-bound strike and again to deny Cameron McGeehan in the 88th minute.
Argyle's best chances fell to Yann Songo'o, whose 16th-minute shot was deflected just around the post.
Barnsley skipper Adam Davies then denied Songo'o with a superb 65th-minute save.
