Highlights of the Sky Bet League One match between Peterborough and Swindon

An own goal from Jack Baldwin sealed a point for Swindon as they twice came from behind to draw 2-2 with Peterborough on a rainy Saturday afternoon.

Posh struck their opener late in the first half as Gwion Edwards bundled home a Marcus Maddison free-kick, before the first penalty of the game was converted by Michael Doughty early in the second period after Michael Bostwick's handball.

But 12 minutes later, Peterborough were awarded a spot-kick after Sean Murray's poor foul on Chris Forrester. Maddison converted but an own goal from Jack Baldwin with 17 minutes to play sealed a point for the travelling Robins.

Posh remain in the play-off places after the draw with 10 points, while Swindon are also hovering outside the top spots on eight points ahead of the 3pm games in the Sky Bet League One.

The first-half wasn't blessed with an abundance of chances, but Swindon forced Posh goalkeeper Mark Taylor into two saves in quick succession a quarter of an hour in when John Goddard let fly at the top of the box before Doughty tried his luck from the left wing on a tight angle.

Peterborough didn't truly test the Robins defence until the half an hour mark as Jermaine Anderson showed a fantastic work rate to chase down a ball on the right, before firing in a bullet cross that evaded three Posh players and just ran wide, raising the noise levels from the home fans.

They found the breakthrough six minutes later as Maddison was fouled by Doughty to win a free kick, which he duly swung in to find the unmarked Edwards at the back post, who scrambled the ball over the line via the crossbar with his knee.

But Swindon - who dominated possession during the opening period - could have equalised on the stroke of half-time as Doughty and Connor Thomas played some lovely passing football across the top of the box before finding Goddard on the left whose shot flew across the face of goal and skimmed the far post.

Peterborough could have added a second early in the second half as Paul Taylor's effort was well blocked by Robins captain Nathan Thompson, but it was Swindon who levelled after six minutes.

Bostwick was penalised for handball in the area after a shot from Doughty, whose fervent appeals were rewarded by referee Tim Robinson as he pointed to the spot. The midfielder stepped up to take the penalty himself and he made no mistake in firing into the corner and getting the visitors level.

Peterborough got themselves in on the penalty party 12 minutes later as Murray put in a poor tackle on Forrester in the box - his first action of the game five minutes into his Swindon debut. It was Maddison who stepped up to take the spot kick and rifled it into the corner to put the hosts back in control.

But Swindon got back level for a second time not long after with a goal Baldwin will want to forget, the Posh player skidding on the slippery surface and firing another fine Doughty cross into his own net.

Luke Norris could have snatched all three points for the visitors in the final minute as he wriggled his way into the box on the right-hand side and took aim - but his effort just skimmed the far post as the sides shared the points at the ABAX Stadium.
