Scott Sinclair hopes his loan move to Aston Villa will help kick-start his flagging Premier League career.
Sinclair completed a move to Villa Park on Friday, and he hopes to impress over the rest of the season with his new club having the option to buy the forward from Manchester City.
The 25-year-old has made only 12 appearances since his move to City from Swansea in 2012 and he was also unable to make the most of a loan spell with West Brom last season.
However, Villa boss Paul Lambert has brought him to the club in the hope he can bring some much-needed creativity to a squad that has managed only 11 goals in 22 Premier League goals so far this season.
"In the training sessions, I will put everything into it," Sinclair said.
"I've kept myself fit. I feel great. It's about getting that match fitness now, playing games and I am confident that my form will come back quickly.
"I am so hungry to be playing. I haven't played for a long period of time.
"It was a very frustrating time at Man City and I want to kickstart my career again and get back on track.
"I'm probably one of the most frustrated players in the country, to be honest. It's been very difficult for me being back at City and not getting the chance I wanted and deserved.
"I still have that desire, belief and hunger to play football because a lot of people who don't know me will be writing me off and thinking I've earned my money and been sitting at City doing nothing.
"Everyone who knows me, knows that isn't the case. I want to get out there, kickstart my career and prove to everyone why Man City bought me from Swansea."
Sinclair is expected to be in Lambert's squad for Sunday's trip to Arsenal and he admits to being excited about the chance of getting back out on the pitch on a regular basis.
"I feel like a kid - happy and hungry to play football," Sinclair added. "Everyone will see that on matchday and the lads will see my enthusiasm in training as well.
"I'm fit and ready to play. Now it's up to me to show my best form. I want to be out there playing football again. That's what drives me. It gives me a buzz.
"I have so much enthusiasm and excitement. I am just so hungry to do well here."
