England have been placed in Pot 2 for Friday's draw in Moscow, and while they cannot draw nations such as Spain, Uruguay and Mexico in the group stage, Gareth Southgate's side could face the three favourites to lift the trophy in Brazil, Germany and France.
The only guarantee is that England can play no more than one other European side in the groups, but the overall outcome of the draw remains anyone's guess.
