Outgoing FA chairman Greg Dyke believes England will be successful at Euro 2016 under Roy Hodgson

FA chairman Greg Dyke has given Roy Hodgson a huge vote of confidence going into the knock-out stages of the Euros, saying he thinks England can win the tournament.

Last week, Dyke suggested Hodgson may have to reach the semi-finals to be offered a new deal. But he told Sky Sports News HQ he thinks England can win it - and the manager could be rewarded with a new contract.

Harry Kane insists he is not suffering from fatigue and says the England squad are calm and focused

But with Dyke leaving the FA, Hodgson's future will be decided by chief executive Martin Glenn and technical director Dan Ashworth,

Hodgson said: "Our position is straightforward. Roy had a contract and when the tournament is over a decision will be made.

"Now I think Roy is doing a great job, we're very supportive of him and I personally have always been very supportive of him.

"I think he's a really good bloke and I believe we will go on and do really well in this tournament and he will get a new contract.
