Leeds United have confirmed the signing of Dutch striker Jay-Roy Grot from NEC Nijmegen on a four-year-deal, for an undisclosed fee.
Leeds head coach Thomas Christiansen has been in the market for a striker following the sale of top scorer Chris Wood to Burnley for £15m, and the cancellation of forward Souleymane Doukara's contract.
Grot, who is a Dutch U19 international, can also play on the wing and has scored six goals in 35 appearances for NEC.
The 19-year-old said: "I am very happy, this is such a big club and this is a big step in my career, I am delighted to sign for Leeds United.
"It was been my dream to play in England and so to do that at a club like Leeds is really exciting."
Grot will wear the No 11 shirt and could make his debut in Saturday's Sky Bet Championship game against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
