Former Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner has been fined 2,250 euros (£1,768) by Wolfsburg after over-sleeping and missing training.
The 28-year-old Denmark international turned up 45 minutes late for the Bundesliga club's session on Monday and was fined 50 euros for each minute over his scheduled start time.
"It's my mistake," Bendtner told Bild newspaper. "I just slept in and didn't hear my alarm."
Bendtner, who joined Wolfsburg on a three-year deal in 2014, has scored just twice this season and has not figured in coach Dieter Hecking's matchday squad for the last six matches.
