Tynecastle boss looking at Polish midfielder
Hearts boss Jim Jefferies says he will assess trialist Adrian Mrowiec in the club's upcoming pre-season games.
Mrowiec had a loan spell at Tynecastle two seasons ago and Jefferies is interested in bringing him back again.
The 26-year-old Polish defensive midfielder remains tied to Lithuanian side FBK Kaunas and would likely command a transfer fee.
Jefferies has heard good things about Mrowiec following his time at Hearts and is looking forward to seeing him play.
Athlete
"He was a Kaunas player on loan here and they took him back when he was injured and put him out to a club in Poland," explained Jefferies.
"Seemingly he did really well there and all the boys here told me he's a decent athlete.
"He is still attached to Kaunas and might be useful because he is big, strong and powerful and looks to me to be a bit more defensive minded in the middle of the park.
"But I'll wait until the games come around to make a decision."
