Hull head coach Marco Silva says there are no personal issues with Robert Snodgrass, but the player has made it clear he wants to leave the club
Sky sources understand Burnley and West Ham have had bids of £10m accepted for the Scotland international, although he is expected to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms with the Hammers on Friday.
Middlesbrough are also understood to have offered the same amount for the 29-year-old, but their bid was structured differently to Burnley's improved offer.
Silva said Snodgrass has not trained with Hull for the past 12 days and has not been part of his first-team plans.
"There's nothing official at the moment," Silva said ahead of Sunday's FA Cup fourth-round tie at Fulham.
"He didn't play [against Manchester United in the EFL Cup on Thursday] and he didn't play also in the previous game at Stamford Bridge.
"And as I told you, he hasn't trained with the team for the last 12 days and hasn't been available to play.
"The player, when he talked with me and with the club, said he wanted to leave. He made it clear to our chairman that he didn't want to stay at Hull City and the view is not with me, it's with our chairman to see if it's possible or not."
Snodgrass has been Hull's standout player this season, scoring nine goals in all competitions, including stunning free-kicks against Burnley and Everton.
A move to West Ham may appear to be the next step for Snodgrass but Silva was keen to stress the player remains part of his plans, if a proposed transfer falls through.
"The player did not have one problem with me," Silva added. "When he was available he tried to work and do his best, but for the last 12 days he hasn't worked with me.
"When it is official, we need to find a solution to replace the player.
"Until now he's been a really important player for us. When it's official we'll talk more about the situation and I will give you my opinion."
